Rival Consoles

Rival Consoles shares atmospheric, nocturnal single Coda, and announces world dates for September & October.

LISTEN

London-based musician and producer Ryan Lee West, aka Rival Consoles, creates driving, experimental electronic music that makes synthesizers sound human. His consistent desire to create a more organic, living sound, sees him forming pieces that capture a sense of songwriting behind the machines.

West is now back with the single Coda. The track offers a snapshot of his knack for nocturnal soundscaping at its finest, and follows up his critically acclaimed album Now Is released last fall via Erased Tapes.

The single is accompanied by the announcement of new European and North American tour dates, which will see West performing at notable venues throughout both continents in September and October, for the first time since his sold out North American tour in 2018. See below for the full list of dates.

Coda started as a really late night experiment around a chord progression that seemed haunting but also had some strange beauty,” West says. “The whole piece is centered around this theme. I wanted to embrace the dark and quiet moments of the nighttime but also the energy of people who were maybe moving around London late at night with a nod to house music." – Ryan Lee West

Building on his reputation for driving, experimental electronic music that makes synthesizers sound human, Rival Consoles expands on his consistent desire to create a more organic, living sound, seeing him forming pieces that capture a sense of songwriting behind the machines.
