Rohin Jones

Rohin Jones is a Brisbane based composer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who’s instinctual creativity is inspired by the ever evolving landscape of the human condition.

His ability to capture the complexity of our emotional experience and reveal the subtle nuance of the natural world using melody, texture and tone gives his work a sensitivity and authenticity that’s rooted in how it feels to be a person.

Beginning his career as a songwriter and musical director for The Middle East while studying a Bachelor of Music Composition Rohin crafted a body a work that garnered national and International recognition resulting in an ARIA nomination for best album an APRA professional development award and QMA’s best artist award.

Beyond that Rohin focused his attention on writing scores for film and television producing works for The American Ballet Theatre, Dulux and Rapha among others. In 2015 he delivered a feature length score for the documentary Cast from the Storm and continues to produce works currently.

Along side that role Rohin is deeply invested in developing and producing up and coming artists as a part of Rainbow Valley Records and is scheduled to begin recording new original works early 2022 for the label.
